This dress is strictly a one off because it is made from vintage fabric that I have had in stock for some time. It is quite a heavy vintage fabric, manmade and with a beautiful floral pattern woven into it.

The design of the dress follows my classic plunge maxi dress design but is made in deep pleats from the shoulder to the waist that are hand-stitched into place.

The detailing on the back features a hand-braided micro-mesh and silver thread rope which fixes the shoulders which are 14 inches wide and drops to the waist at the back. The waist is fixed by a matching belt which is fixed centre front and will be finished centre back to your waist measurement with a hook and eye detailing. The dress fastens with a 9-inch zip centre back.

The dress features a long split in the side seams which starts 15 inches below the waist, after which the dress falls open. This split length can be lengthened or shortened to your requirements.

This dress hangs long and heavy due to the depth of the pleats and the weight of the vintage fabric, perfect for formal evening events and would make a real show stopper at any special occasion, dressed up with your favourite jewellery.

Due to the design, this dress is not multi-size like most of my creations. It is fitted here on a mannequin with measurements:

Bust: 36 inches
Waist: 30 inches
Hips: 40 inches

However, for other sizes the dress can be altered by refixing the pleats and I am happy to do this at the buyers request. This would require a certain amount of work that will be charged for because it is a hand finished garment. Please contact me directly should you have any queries regarding this.

The length of the hem on this dress is 66 inches long from shoulder to hem and can be altered at no extra cost. Likewise the depth of the plunge neckline can also be altered. It is currently 14 inches from the shoulder to the centre drop.
